The Department of Homeland
Security, U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services (USCIS) has
submitted the following information
collection request for review and
clearance in accordance with the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. The
information collection is published to
obtain comments from the public and
affected agencies. Comments are
encouraged and will be accepted for
sixty days until June 9, 2008.
Written comments and suggestions
regarding items contained in this notice,
and especially with regard to the
estimated public burden and associated
response time should be directed to the

applicant is likely to become a public
charge.

respondents and the amount of time
estimated for an average respondent to
respond: 44,000 responses at 90 minutes
(1.5 hours ) per response.
(6) An estimate of the total public
burden (in hours) associated with the
collection: 66,000 annual burden hours.

respondents, frequency of response, and
hours of response: The number of

collection: This is an extension of
currently approved collection.

SUMMARY: In accordance with the
Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, 5
U.S.C. 552a (Privacy Act), the Office of
Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight
(OFHEO) is issuing public notice of its
intent to establish a new Privacy Act
system of records. The new system is
titled Reasonable Accommodation
Information System.

The proposed system of records will
consist of information used to evaluate
and make decisions with respect to
requests for reasonable accommodation
made by OFHEO employees and
applicants for employment, to
implement such accommodations and
for emergency response purposes, such
as providing evacuation assistance.
OFHEO seeks comments on the
proposed new system of records
described in this notice.
DATES: Written comments must be
received before May 9, 2008. The
proposed new system of records will
become effective on May 19, 2008,
unless OFHEO receives comments that
would result in changes.
