The Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA) hereby gives notice that
pursuant to the authority vested in the
Administrator, Department of Homeland
Security, under Executive Order 12148,
as amended, Michael L. Parker, of
FEMA is appointed to act as the Federal
Coordinating Officer for this declared
disaster.
I do hereby determine the following

include Individual Assistance and the
Hazard Mitigation Grant Program for the
following areas among those areas
determined to have been adversely
affected by the catastrophe declared a
major disaster by the President in his
declaration of March 26, 2008.
SUMMARY:
The counties of Baxter, Benton,
Independence, Jackson, Lawrence, Logan,
Madison, Marion, Randolph, Stone, and
Woodruff for Individual Assistance (already
designated for emergency protective
measures [Category B], limited to direct
Federal assistance, under the Public
Assistance program.)
The counties of Baxter, Boone, Carroll,
Fulton, Izard, Johnson, Madison, Scott,
Searcy, and Yell for Public Assistance,
including direct Federal assistance, (already
designated for emergency protective
measures [Category B], limited to direct
Federal assistance, under the Public
