AGENCY:
SUMMARY: The National Aeronautics and
Space Administration, as part of its
continuing effort to reduce paperwork
and respondent burden, invites the
general public and other Federal
agencies to take this opportunity to
comment on proposed and/or
continuing information collections, as
required by the Paperwork Reduction
Act of 1995 (Pub. L. 104–13, 44 U.S.C.
3506(c)(2)(A)).

submitted within 60 calendar days from

This information collection has to do
with recordkeeping and reporting
required to ensure proper accounting of
Federal funds and property provided
under NASA cooperative agreements
with commercial firms.

Electronic funds transfer is used for
payment under Treasury guidance. In
addition, NASA encourages the use of
computer technology and is
participating in Federal efforts to extend
the use of information technology to
more Government processes via the
Internet. Specifically, progress has been
made in the area of property reporting,
most of it being done electronically.

No. DPR–50 for an Additional 20-Year
Period; Amergen Energy Company,
LLC Three Mile Island Nuclear Station,
Unit 1
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory
Commission (NRC or the Commission)
is considering an application for the
renewal of operating license DPR–50,
which authorizes AmerGen Energy
Company, LLC (AmerGen), to operate
the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station
(TMI), Unit 1, at 2568 megawatts
thermal. The renewed license would
authorize the applicant to operate the
TMI, Unit 1, for an additional 20 years
beyond the period specified in the
current license. TMI, Unit 1, is located
near Middletown, Pennsylvania; and its
current operating license expires on
April 19, 2014.
AmerGen submitted the application
dated January 8, 2008, pursuant to Title
10, Part 54, of the Code of Federal
Regulations (10 CFR Part 54), to renew
operating license DPR–50 for TMI, Unit
1. A notice of receipt and availability of
the license renewal application (LRA)
was published in the Federal Register
on January 31, 2008 (73 FR 5877).
The Commission’s staff has
determined that AmerGen has
submitted sufficient information in
