The renewed license would authorize the applicant to operate the TMI, Unit 1, for an additional 20 years beyond the period specified in the current license. TMI, Unit 1, is located near Middletown, Pennsylvania; and its current operating license expires on April 19, 2014. AmerGen submitted the application dated January 8, 2008, pursuant to Title 10, Part 54, of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR Part 54), to renew operating license DPR–50 for TMI, Unit 1. A notice of receipt and availability of the license renewal application (LRA) was published in the Federal Register on January 31, 2008 (73 FR 5877).
