    Take notice that on February 28, 2008, Duke Energy Ohio, Inc. (DE-
Ohio) filed information in support of continuation of its existing rate 
election pursuant to section 284.123(b)(1)(ii) of the Commission's 
regulations (18 CFR 284.123(b)(1)(ii)) for service under its blanket 
certificate.
    DE-Ohio proposes to continue utilizing the currently effective Rate
