representation from academia, industry,

was established by section 209 of the
Sea Grant Program Improvement Act of
1976 (Pub. L. 94–461, 33 U.S.C. 1128).
The Panel advises the Secretary of
Commerce and the Director of the
National Sea Grant College Program
with respect to operations under the
Act, and such other matters as the
Secretary refers to them for review and

this notice to announce a 45-day public
comment period for the draft document
titled, U.S. Climate Change Science
Program Synthesis and Assessment
Product 4.1: ‘‘Coastal elevation and
sensitivity to sea level rise.’’
This draft document is being released
solely for the purpose of predissemination peer review under
applicable information quality
guidelines. This document has not been
formally disseminated by NOAA. It does
not represent and should not be
construed to represent any Agency
policy or determination. Any public
comments submitted in accordance with
this notice will be considered when
revising the document.
