Notice Pursuant to the National
Cooperative Research and Production
Act of 1993—PXI Systems Alliance,
Inc.
[OMB Number 1117–0024]
Notice is hereby given that, on
January 8, 2008, pursuant to section 6(a)
of the National Cooperative Research
and Production Act of 1993, 15 U.S.C.
4301 et seq. (‘‘the Act’’), PXI Systems
Alliance, Inc. has filed written
notifications simultaneously with the
Attorney General and the Federal Trade
Commission disclosing changes in its
membership. The notifications were
filed for the purpose of extending the
Act’s provisions limiting the recovery of
antitrust plaintiffs to actual damages
under specified circumstances.
Specifically, Advantech, Shing-Tien
City, Taipei, Taiwan; United Electronic
Industries, Inc., Walpole, MA; ELMA
Electronic Inc., Fremont, CA; Corelis,
Cerritos, CA; Advanced Integration LLC,
Columbus, OH; Mindready Solutions,
Inc., Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada;
Digalog Systems, Inc., New Berlin, WI;
PLDA, Inc., Aix-en—Provence Cedex,
France; and Signametrics, Seattle, WA
have withdrawn as parties to this
venture.
ACTION:
No other changes have been made in
either the membership or planned
activity of the group research project.
Membership in this group research
project remains open, and PXI Systems
Alliance, Inc. intends to file additional
written notifications disclosing all
changes in membership.
On November 22, 2000, PXI Systems
Alliance, Inc. filed its original
notification pursuant to section 6(a) of
the Act. The Department of Justice
published a notice in the Federal
Register pursuant to section 6(b) of the
Act on March 8, 2001 (66 FR 13971).

Collection Under Review Reports of
Suspicious Orders or Theft/Loss of
Listed Chemicals/Machines.
The Department of Justice (DOJ), Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA) will
be submitting the following information
collection request to the Office of
Management and Budget (OMB) for
review and approval in accordance with
the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
The proposed information collection is
published to obtain comments from the
public and affected agencies. This
proposed information collection was
previously published in the Federal
Register Volume 72, Number 241, page
71435 on December 17, 2007, allowing
for a 60 day comment period.
The purpose of this notice is to allow
for an additional 30 days for public
comment until March 26, 2008. This
process is conducted in accordance with
5 CFR 1320.10.
Written comments and/or suggestions
regarding the items contained in this
notice, especially the estimated public
burden and associated response time,
should be directed to the Office of
Management and Budget, Office of
Information and Regulatory Affairs,

Primary: Business or other forprofit.
Other: None.
Abstract: Persons handling listed
chemicals and tableting and
encapsulating machines are required to
report thefts, losses and suspicious
orders pertaining to these items. These
reports provide DEA with information
regarding possible diversion to illicit
drug manufacture.
(5) An estimate of the total number of
respondents and the amount of time
estimated for an average respondent to
respond: DEA estimates that 2,000
persons respond as needed to this
collection. Responses take 15 minutes.
(6) An estimate of the total public
burden (in hours) associated with the
collection: DEA estimates that this
collection takes 500 annual burden
hours.
