Through the Listserv and Web page,
FSIS is able to provide information to a
much broader and more diverse
audience. In addition, FSIS offers an
electronic mail subscription service
which provides automatic and
customized access to selected food
safety news and information. This
service is available at https://

email_subscription/. Options range from
recalls to export information to
regulations, directives and notices.
Customers can add or delete
subscriptions themselves, and have the
option to password protect their
accounts.

discuss project updates from 2007.

and air quality issues, and a public
forum (question and answer session).
The meeting is being held pursuant to
the authorities in the Federal Advisory
Committee Act (Pub. L. 92–463) and
under the Secure Rural Schools and
Community Self-Determination Act of
2000 (Pub. L. 106–393). The meeting is
open to the public.

Title: National Childhood Injury and
Occupational Injury Survey of Farm
Operators.
OMB Control Number: 0535–0235.
Expiration Date of Approval: 06/30/
2008.
Type of Request: To extend and revise
its title and scope of the currently
approved information collection to The
National Childhood Injury and
Occupational Injury Survey of Minority
Farm Operators.
Abstract: The National Childhood
Injury and Occupational Injury Survey
of Minority Farm Operators is designed
to: (1) Provide estimates of childhood
nonfatal injury incidence and
description of injury occurring to
children less than 20 years of age who
reside on, work on, or visit minority
farms and (2) describe the occupational
injury experience of minority farm
operators. Data will be collected by
telephone from all 50 states with 25,000
operations receiving a Childhood Injury
version only and 25,000 receiving a
combined Childhood Injury and
Occupational Injury version. Questions
will relate to injury problems occurring
during the 2008 calendar year.
These data will update and enhance
existing data series used by the National
Institute of Occupational Safety and
Health to: (1) Establish a measure of the
number and rate of childhood injuries
associated with farming operations and
study the specific types of injuries
sustained and (2) describe the scope and
