The FAA may approve the request, in whole or in part, no later than March 17, 2008. The following is a brief overview of the request: The City of Monroe, Louisiana requests the release of 14.378 acres of airport property. The release of property will allow for construction of a new facility for storage of materials and supplies, which would serve as a warehouse for Sol’s Pipe & Steel, Inc., to proceed. The sale is estimated to provide $160,700.00, whereas the proceeds will go toward construction of the new Terminal Building on the airport.
