SUMMARY: NRC will convene a meeting
of the Independent External Review
Panel to Identify Vulnerabilities in the
U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s
(NRC) Materials Licensing Program on
February 8, 2008. A copy of the agenda
for the meeting can be obtained by emailing Mr. Aaron T. McCraw at the
contact information below.
Purpose: To serve as a forum for
members of the public to provide oral
comments on the Panel’s interim
observations and recommendations that
will be documented in its draft report.
Date and Time for Closed Sessions:
February 8, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 12
p.m. This session will be closed so that
the Review Panel can receive a
classified briefing pursuant to 5 U.S.C.
552b (c)(1).
Date and Time for Open Session:
February 8, 2008, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30
p.m.
