Purpose: The committee is charged
with advising the Director, CDC, on the
appropriate uses of immunizing agents.
In addition, under 42 U.S.C.1396s, the
committee is mandated to establish and
periodically review and, as appropriate,
revise the list of vaccines for
administration to vaccine-eligible
children through the Vaccines for
Children (VFC) program, along with
schedules regarding the appropriate
periodicity, dosage, and
contraindications applicable to the
vaccines.
Matters To Be Discussed: The agenda
will include discussions on Influenza
Vaccines; Meningococcal Conjugate
Vaccine; Rabies Vaccine and
Biologicals; Human Papillomavirus
Vaccines; Anthrax Vaccine; Rotavirus
Vaccines; Use of Vaccines during
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding; Update on
Vaccine Supply; General
Recommendations; Japanese
Encephalitis Vaccines; Immunization
Safety Update; Combination Vaccines;
Update on Implementation of Approach
to Economic Analyses and agency
updates. There may be VFC voting on
the Influenza and Meningococcal
Vaccines.

announces the following Meeting for the
aforementioned committee:

Purpose: The Safety and Occupational
Health Study Section will review,
discuss, and evaluate grant
application(s) received in response to
the Institute’s standard grants review
and funding cycles pertaining to
research issues in occupational safety
and health, and allied areas.
It is the intent of NIOSH to support
broad-based research endeavors in
keeping with the Institute’s program
goals. This will lead to improved
understanding and appreciation for the
magnitude of the aggregate health
burden associated with occupational
injuries and illnesses, as well as to
support more focused research projects,
which will lead to improvements in the
delivery of occupational safety and
health services, and the prevention of
work-related injury and illness. It is
anticipated that research funded will
promote these program goals.
Matters To Be Discussed: The meeting
will convene to address matters related
to the conduct of Study Section
business and for the study section to
consider safety and occupational healthrelated grant applications. These
portions of the meeting will be closed to
the public in accordance with
provisions set forth in section 552b(c)(4)
and (6), Title 5 U.S.C., and the
Determination of the Director,
Management Analysis and Services
Office, Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention, pursuant to section 10(d)
Public Law 92–463.

Notice is hereby given that I have
delegated to the Director, Office of
Refugee Resettlement, with the
authority to further re-delegate, the
following authority delegated to the
Assistant Secretary for Children and
Families by the Secretary of the
Department of Health and Human
Services on April 30, 2004.
(a) Authority Delegated.
Authority to conduct public
awareness and information activities
under the Trafficking Victims Protection
Act of 2000 (TVPA), Public Law 106–
386, section 106(b), 22 U.S.C. 7104(b).
(b) Limitations and Conditions.
1. This delegation shall be exercised
under the Department’s existing
delegation of authority and policy on
regulations.
2. This delegation shall be exercised
under financial and administrative
requirements applicable to all
Administration for Children and
Families’ authorities.
3. The Director of the Anti-Trafficking
in Persons Division must report to the
Director, Office of Refugee Resettlement,
and the Director, Office of Refugee
Resettlement, must report to the
Assistant Secretary prior to carrying out
public awareness and information
activities.
(c) Effective Date.
This delegation is effective upon date
of signature.
(d) Effect on Existing Delegations.
None.
In addition, I have affirmed and
ratified any actions taken by the
Director, Office of Refugee Resettlement,
which involved the exercise of this
authority prior to the effective date of
this delegation.
