new thresholds, which take effect
immediately, are $25,319,000 for
Section 8(a)(1), and $2,531,900 for
Section 8(a)(2)(A).

SUMMARY: The Federal Trade
Commission announces the revised
thresholds for interlocking directorates
required by the 1990 amendment of
Section 8 of the Clayton Act. Section 8
prohibits, with certain exceptions, one
person from serving as a director or
officer of two competing corporations if
two thresholds are met. Competitor
corporations are covered by Section 8 if
each one has capital, surplus, and

SUMMARY: This bulletin cancels FMR
Bulletin 2003–B1, Locating Federal
Facilities in Rural Areas. FMR Bulletin
2003–B1 assisted Federal agencies,
having their own statutory authority to
acquire real property, in complying with
the Rural Development Act of 1972. The
‘‘rural area’’ definition is outdated and
the revised definition was published in
41 CFR 102–83.55, Rural Areas, Real
Property Policies Update, on November
2, 2005. FMR Bulletin 2003–B1 is being
cancelled in its entirety to ensure that

human subjects at 45 CFR 46.103. The
respondents are institutions engaged in
human subjects research that is
conducted or supported by HHS. Data is
collected as needed.
