information and proposed use: This is
an information collection for reporting
requirements of 40 Renewal
Communities (RCs). The information is
based on the progress reported by each
designee on its local and state
commitments, economic growth
promotion requirements, and Tax
Incentive Utilization Plan (TIUP). As
required by the statute (26 U.S.C. 1400
E), HUD’s regulations (24 CFR 599.511)
authorize HUD to require the
Coordinating Responsible Authority or
CoRA and the State and local
governments in which the Renewal
Community is located to submit
periodic reports and additional
information. The information submitted
will enable HUD to assess performance
of designees and the effectiveness of the
Renewal Community Initiative.
