notice announces the Rural BusinessCooperative Service’s (RBS) intention to
request an extension of a currently
approved information collection in
support of the program for ‘‘Renewal

Improvements Program.’’

regarding the eligibility of applicants
and borrowers, establish selection
priorities among competing applicants,
ensure compliance with applicable
Rural Development regulations, and
effectively monitor the grantees and
borrowers activities to protect the
Government’s financial interest and
ensure that funds obtained from the

the quality, utility and clarity of the
information to be collected; and (d)
ways to minimize the burden of the
collection of information on those who

electronic, mechanical, or other
technological collection techniques or
other forms of information technology.

SUMMARY: The Department of Commerce
(the Department) is conducting an
administrative review of the
countervailing duty (CVD) order on
certain hot–rolled carbon steel flat
products from India for the period
January 1, 2006, through December 31,
2006, the period of review (POR). For
information on the net subsidy rate for
each reviewed company, see the
‘‘Preliminary Results of Review’’
section, infra. Interested parties are
invited to comment on these
preliminary results, see the ‘‘Public
Comment’’ section, infra.
