The applicant requests a permit to export one male captive-born Central American tapir (Tapirus bairdii) to the Zoologico de Chapultepec, Mexico for the purpose of enhancement of the species through captive breeding and conservation education. The applicant requests a permit to export and re-import ‘‘Selbit’’ a captiveborn male leopard (Panthera pardus) to worldwide locations for the purpose of enhancement of the species through conservation education.
