The proposed amendment would
have revised the facility Technical
Specifications and the operating license.
The proposed change would have added
a License Condition 2.C to the Facility
Operating License NPF–47 that allows
River Bend Station, Unit 1, Technical
Specifications surveillance intervals to
be extended on a one-time basis for the
14th Fuel Cycle to account for the
effects of a delayed refueling outage.
The Commission had previously
issued a Notice of Consideration of
Issuance of Amendment published in
the Federal Register on October 9, 2007
(72 FR 57354). However, by letter dated
October 3, 2007, the licensee withdrew
the proposed change.
For further details with respect to this
action, see the application for
amendment dated September 13, 2007,
and the licensee’s letter dated October 3,
2007, which withdrew the application
for license amendment. Documents may
