currently approved collection.
Abstract: VA Forms 29–352 and 29–
353 are used to apply for reinstatement
of insurance and/or Total Disability
Income Provision that has lapsed for
more than six months. VA uses the
information collected to establish the
applicant’s eligibility for reinstatement.
Affected Public: Individuals or
households.
Estimated Annual Burden: 3,333
hours.

SUMMARY: The Veterans Benefits
Administration (VBA), Department of
Veterans Affairs (VA), is announcing an
opportunity for public comment on the
proposed collection of certain
information by the agency. Under the
Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of
1995, Federal agencies are required to
publish notice in the Federal Register
concerning each proposed collection of
information, including each proposed
extension of a currently approved
collection and allow 60 days for public
comment in response to the notice. This
notice solicits comments on information
needed to determine whether
adjustments in rates of benefit payments
are necessary.
DATES: Written comments and
recommendations on the proposed
collection of information should be
received on or before November 26,
2007.

receive the benefits.
