of UN T50 tanks designed and constructed in accordance with Section VIII, Division 2 of the ASME

To authorize the manufacture, marking, sale and use
of non-DOT specification portable tanks mounted
within an ISO frame that have been designed, constructed and stamped in accordance with Section
VIII, Division 2 of the ASME Code. (modes 1, 2, 3)
To authorize the transportation in commerce of cylinders containing certain compressed gases, for
which the proper shipping names have been removed from the Hazardous Materials Regulations,
with the old labels and shipping descriptions.

numbers with the suffix ‘‘M’’ denote a
modification request. There applications
have been separated from the new
application for special permits to
facilitate processing.
