SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The purpose of the work session is to achieve consensus on products developed by MEW members for the Council’s salmon methodology review, which involves a meeting of the Council’s Scientific and Statistical Committee Salmon Subcommittee, Salmon Technical Team, and MEW on October 24–25, 2007. Although non-emergency issues not contained in the meeting agenda may come before the MEW for discussion, those issues may not be the subject of formal MEW action during this meeting. MEW action will be restricted to those issues specifically listed in this notice and any issues arising after publication of this notice that require emergency action under Section 305(c) of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, provided the public has been notified of the MEW’s intent to take final action to address the emergency. It also provides a corresponding listing of a successor Local Redevelopment Authority (LRA) for Fort Monroe, Virginia recognized by the Secretary of Defense, acting through the Department of Defense Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA), as well as the point of contact, address, and telephone number for the successor LRA for this installation. Representatives of state and local governments, homeless providers, and other parties interested in the redevelopment of the installation should contact the person or organization listed. The following information will also be published simultaneously in a newspaper of general circulation in the area of the installation. There will be additional Notices providing this same information about LRAs for other closing or realigning installations where surplus government property is available as those LRAs are recognized by the OEA.
