AGENCY: Forest Service, USDA.
SUMMARY: In accordance with the
Secure
Rural Schools and Community Self
Determination Act of 2000 (Pub. L. 106–
393) and the Federal Advisory
Committee Act of 1972 (FACA), the U.S.
Department of Agriculture, Forest
Service, Davy Crockett National Forest
Resource Advisory Committee (RAC)
meeting will meet as indicated below.
DATES: The Davy Crockett National
Forest RAC meeting will be held on
September 20, 2007.
ADDRESSES: The Davy Crockett National
Forest RAC meeting will be held at the
Davy Crockett Ranger Station located on
State Highway 7, approximately onequarter mile West of FM 227 in Houston
County, Texas. The meeting will begin
at 4 p.m. and adjourn at approximately
6 p.m. A public comment period will be
5:45 p.m.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Davy
Crockett National Forest RAC proposes
projects and funding to the Secretary of
Agriculture under Section 203 of the
Secure Rural Schools and Community
Self Determination Act of 2000. The
purpose of the September 20, 2007
meeting is to review and approve 2007
funding for proposed projects to submit
to the Forest Supervisor for National
Forests and Grasslands in Texas. These
meetings are open to the public. The
public may present written comments to
the RAC. Each formal RAC meeting will
also have time, as identified above,

393) the Black Hills National Forests’
Crook County Resource Advisory
Committee will meet Tuesday,
September 11th, 2007 in sundance,
Wyoming for a business meeting. The
meeting is open to the public.
SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The
business meeting on September 11th
will begin at 6:30 p.m., at the USFS
Bearlodge Ranger District office, 121
South 21st Street, Sundance, Wyoming.
Agenda topics will include a review of
previously funded projects and
consideration of FY 2008 project
proposals. A public forum will begin at
8 p.m. (MT).

Needs and Uses: The marine mammal
stranding—Level A—reports provide
basic information on marine mammal
strandings so that the National Marine
Fisheries Service (NMFS) can compile
and analyze by region the species,
numbers, conditions, and causes of
illnesses and deaths of stranded marine
mammals. The Agency requires this
information to fulfill its management
responsibilities under the Marine
Mammal Protection Act (16 U.S.C.
1421a). The Agency is also responsible
for the welfare of marine mammals
while in rehabilitation status. The
information for the marine mammal
rehabilitation disposition report is
required for monitoring and tracking
marine mammals held at various NMFSauthorized facilities. The information is
submitted primarily by volunteer
members making up the U.S. marine
mammal stranding network.

organizations; State, Local or Tribal
Government.
