In accordance with the
Federal Land Policy and Management
Act (FLPMA), the Federal Advisory
Committee Act of 1972 (FACA), and the
Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement
Act of 2004 (FLREA), the U.S.
Department of the Interior, Bureau of
Land Management (BLM) Coeur d’Alene
District Resource Advisory Council
(RAC) and Recreation RAC
Subcommittee will meet as indicated
below.
SUMMARY:
September 10, 2007. The meeting
will start at 10 a.m. and end no later
than 4 p.m. The public comment period
will be from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The
meeting will be held at the McKay Bend
Campground located in Myrtle, Idaho
(15 miles east of Lewiston, Idaho on the
Clearwater River).

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The 15member Council advises the Secretary
of the Interior, through the Bureau of
Land Management, on a variety of
planning and management issues
associated with public land
management in Idaho. The agenda will
include the following topics: Forest
Service and BLM recreation fee
proposals (Recreation RAC
Subcommittee) and a report from the
Salmon River Working Group
subcommittee (RAC). Additional topics
may be added and will be included in
local media announcements. More
information is available at https://
www.blm.gov/rac/id/id_index.htm.
All meetings are open to the public.
The public may present written
comments to the Council in advance of
or at the meeting. Each formal Council
meeting will also have time allocated for
receiving public comments. Depending
on the number of persons wishing to
comment and time available, the time
for individual oral comments may be
limited. Individuals who plan to attend
and need special assistance, such as
sign language interpretation or other

SUMMARY: This order extends the
withdrawal created by Public Land
Order No. 6652 for an additional 20-year
period. This extension is necessary to
continue protection of the Petersburg
Administrative Site in Siskiyou County.

By virtue of the authority vested in
the Secretary of the Interior by section
204 of the Federal Land Policy and
Management Act of 1976, 43 U.S.C.
1714 (2000), it is ordered as follows:
1. Public Land Order No. 6652 (52 FR
27552), which withdrew 30 acres of
National Forest System land within the
Klamath National Forest from the
mining laws to protect the Petersburg
Administrative Site, is hereby extended
for an additional 20-year period.
2. Public Land Order No. 6652 will
expire on July 21, 2027, unless, as a
result of a review conducted prior to the
expiration date pursuant to section
204(f) of the Federal Land Policy and
Management Act of 1976, 43 U.S.C.
1714(f) (2000), the Secretary determines
that the withdrawal shall be extended.
