Lenders are authorized by VA to make automatic guaranteed loans if approved for such purposes. The lender is required to have a qualified underwriter to review loans to be closed on automatic basis and determine that the loan meets VA’s PO 00000 Frm 00129 Fmt 4703 Sfmt 4703 44611 credit underwriting standards.
