AGENCY:
SUMMARY: The OCC, as part of its
continuing effort to reduce paperwork
and respondent burden, invites the
general public and other Federal
agencies to comment on the renewal of
an information collection, as required
by the Paperwork Reduction Act of
1995. An agency may not conduct or
sponsor, and a respondent is not
required to respond to, an information
collection unless it displays a currently
valid Office of Management and Budget
(OMB) control number. The OCC is
soliciting comment concerning an
information collection titled,
‘‘Interagency Statement on Complex
Structured Finance Transactions.’’ The
OCC also gives notice that it has sent the
information collection to OMB for
review and approval.
DATES: Comments must be submitted on
or before August 30, 2007.

the Federal Reserve System, Federal
Deposit Insurance Corporation, Office of
Thrift Supervision, and the Securities
and Exchange Commission) believe are
particularly effective in assisting
financial institutions to identify and
address the reputational, legal, and
other risks associated with complex
structured finance transactions.

that the Blue Ribbon Panel on VAMedical School Affiliations has
scheduled a meeting for September 21,
2007, in Room 542 at 1800 G Street,
NW., Washington, DC from 8:30 a.m.
until 2 p.m. The meeting is open to the
public.
The purpose of the Panel is to advise
the Secretary of Veterans Affairs,
through the Under Secretary for Health,
on issues related to a comprehensive
philosophical framework to enhance
VA’s partnerships with medical schools
and affiliated institutions.
The panelists will review VA’s
current affiliations with medical schools
and will receive background
presentations and issue papers on
various topics that are relevant to the
Panel’s deliberations.
Interested persons may attend and
present oral statements to the Panel.
Oral presentations will be limited to five
minutes or less, depending on the
number of participants. Interested
parties may also provide written
comments for review by the Panel prior
to the meeting or at any time, by e-mail
