Abstract: Section 6050H of the
Internal Revenue Code requires
mortgagors to report mortgage interest,
including points, of $600 or more paid
to them during the year by an
individual. The form will be used by the
IRS to verify that taxpayers have
deducted the proper amount of
mortgage interest expense or have
included the proper amount of mortgage
interest refunds in income on their tax
returns.
Current Actions: There are no changes
being made to the form at this time.

section 44 allows eligible small
businesses to claim a nonrefundable
income tax credit of 50% of the amount
of eligible access expenditures for any
tax year that exceed $250 but do not
exceed $10,250. Form 8826 figures the
credit and the tax liability limit.
Current Actions: We deleted 18 line
