Natural states that the purpose of this filing is to seek a temporary waiver of certain tariff provisions in order to expand opposite leg secondary point rights, so as to offset the impact of an expected outage of Natural’s Amarillo Mainline during the months of July through September 2007 that will remove from service a pipeline valve section of Segment 14, extending from the east side of the Mississippi River to Natural’s Compressor Station 10 in Henry County, Illinois.     Take notice that on June 15, 2007, Northern Natural Gas Company 
(Northern) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Fifth 
Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets, with an effective

    Northern states that the filing is being made in accordance with

abandonment of compression contained in Sheet No. 54 of its tariff.
