the Grantor. This agreement shall terminate
3 years from this date unless extended or
unless terminated beforehand due to default
on the part of the Grantee or for convenience
of the Grantor and Grantee. The Grantor may
terminate the grant in whole, or in part, at
any time before the date of completion,
whenever it is determined that the Grantee
has failed to comply with the conditions of
this Agreement or the applicable regulations;
Termination for convenience will occur
when both the Grantee and Grantor agree that
the continuation of the program will not
produce beneficial results commensurate
with the further expenditure of funds.
D. As a condition of the Agreement, the
Grantee certifies that it is in compliance
with, and will comply in the course of the
Agreement with, all applicable laws,
regulations, Executive Orders, and other
generally applicable requirements, which are
incorporated into this agreement by
reference, and such other statutory
provisions as are specifically contained
herein.
E. The Grantee will ensure that the
recipients comply with title VI of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964, section 504 of the
Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Executive
Order 12250. Each recipient must sign Form
RD 400–4, ‘‘Assurance Agreement’’;
F. The provisions of 7 CFR part 3015,
‘‘Uniform Federal Assistance Regulations,’’
part 3016, ‘‘Uniform Administrative
Requirements for Grants and Cooperative
Agreements to State and Local
Governments,’’ or part 3019, ‘‘Uniform
Administrative Requirements for Grants and
Agreements with Institutions of Higher
Education, Hospitals, and Other Nonprofit
Organizations,’’ and the fiscal year 2007
‘‘Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA)
Inviting Applications for the Rural
Community Development Initiative (RCDI)’’
are incorporated herein and made a part
