Take notice that on May 1, 2007, ANR
Pipeline Company (ANR) tendered for
filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff,
Second Revised Volume No. 1, FortySeventh Revised Sheet No. 17, to be
effective June 1, 2007.
ANR states that the filing is being
filed to implement its annual cashout
surcharge pursuant to the provisions
contained in Sections 15.5 and 15.8 of
the General Terms & Conditions of its
FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised
Volume No. 1.
Any person desiring to intervene or to
protest this filing must file in
accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of
the Commission’s Rules of Practices and
Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and
385.214). Protests will be considered by
the Commission in determining the
appropriate action to be taken, but will
not serve to make protestants parties to
the proceeding. Any person wishing to
become a party must file a notice of
intervention or motion to intervene, as
appropriate. Such notices, motions, or
protests must be filed in accordance
with the provisions of Section 154.210
of the Commission’s regulations (18 CFR

The Commission’s Rules of Practice
and Procedure require all intervenors
filing documents with the Commission

relating to the merits of an issue that
may affect the responsibilities of a
particular resource agency, they must

l. Description of Project: The proposed
project would use the existing U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers’ Red River
Lock and Dam No. 2 and consist of: (1)
Five proposed penstocks; (2) a proposed
powerhouse containing 5 generating
units with a total installed capacity of
23-megawatts; (3) a proposed 500-footlong, 14.7-kilovolt transmission line;
and (4) appurtenant facilities. The
proposed project would have an
estimated annual generation of
approximately 141-gigawatt hours. The
applicant plans to sell the generated
energy.
