The Commission staff, agency representatives, and interested members of the public visited the project site and attended project information meetings conducted by the City of Broken Bow in 2001. The City of Broken Bow worked with the resource agencies and members of the public under the Alternative Licensing Process in preparing the license application, including preparation of a Draft Environmental Assessment which was filed as part of the application. Therefore, we do not anticipate at this time that there is adequate justification: (1) To arrange for Commission staff and interested members of the public to visit the project site; or (2) to hold a public meeting near the project site.
