AGENCY:
SUMMARY: The Pacific Fishery
Management Council (Council) and
NMFS will hold a Coastal Pelagic
Species (CPS) Stock Assessment Review
(STAR) Panel meeting to review
assessment methods for Pacific
mackerel.
The meeting is scheduled for
Tuesday, May 1, 2007, from 10 a.m. to
5 p.m.; Wednesday, May 2, 2007, from
8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Thursday, May 3,
2007, from 8 a.m. to until business for
the day is completed.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The
purpose of the CPS STAR Panel meeting
is to review draft stock assessment
documents and any other pertinent
information for Pacific mackerel, work
with the Stock Assessment Team to
make necessary revisions, and produce
a STAR Panel report for use by the
Council family and other interested
persons for developing management
recommendations for the 2007–08
Pacific mackerel fishery.
Although non-emergency issues not
contained in this notice may arise
during the STAR Panel, those issues

during this meeting. Formal action will
be restricted to those issues specifically
listed in this notice and any issues

notified of the intent to take final action
to address the emergency.
Special Accommodations
The meeting is physically accessible
to people with disabilities. Requests for
sign language interpretation or other
auxiliary aids should be directed to Ms.
Carolyn Porter at (503) 820–2280 at least
5 days prior to the meeting date.
Entry to the Southwest Fisheries
Science Center (SWFSC) requires
visitors to register with the front office
each morning. A visitor’s badge, which
must be worn while at the SWFSC, will
be issued to non-federal employees
participating in the meeting. Since
parking is at a premium at the SWFSC,
car pooling, and mass transit are
encouraged.

ACTION:
SUMMARY: Pursuant to Section 10(a),
Public Law 92–463, as amended, notice
is hereby given of a forthcoming
Meeting of the President’s Commission
on America’s Returning Wounded
Warriors. The purpose of the Committee
meeting is to conduct briefings for the
Commissioners. The meeting is open to
the public, subject to the availability of
space.
Interested persons may submit a
written statement for consideration by
the Committee and make an oral
presentation of such. Persons desiring to
make an oral presentation or submit a
written statement to the Committee
must notify the point of contact listed
below no later than 18 April 2007. Oral
presentations by members of the public
will be permitted only on 23 April at 1
to 2 before the full Committee.

Presentations will be limited to 5
minutes. Executive director and the
Designated Federal official will select
individuals for oral presentations and
notify them in advance of the
opportunity to make a 5 minute
presentation to the Commission.
Number of oral presentations to be made
will depend on the number of requests
received from members of the public.
Each person desiring to make an oral
presentation must provide the point of
contact listed below with one (1) copy
of the presentation by 18 April 2007, 5
p.m. and one copy of any material that
is intended for distribution at the
meeting. Persons submitting a written
statement must submit one copy of the
statement to the Commission staff by 5

scheduling difficulties the Commission
was unable to finalize its agenda in time
to publish a Federal Register meeting

41 CFR 102–3.150(b), waives the 15calendar day notification requirement.
