ACTION: Notice. Authority: Congress created the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission in 2000 in the National Defense Authorization Act (Pub. L. 106–398), as amended by Division P of the Consolidated Appropriations Resolution, 2003 (Pub. L. 108–7), as amended by Pub. L. 109–108 (November 22, 2005) for the purpose of monitoring, investigating, and reporting to the Congress on the national security implications of the bilateral economic relationship between the United States and the People’s Republic of China. It is charged with providing an annual report of its findings and recommendations to the Congress. The Commission is composed of twelve Commissioners appointed by the leaders of both parties in the U.S. House and U.S. Senate. SUMMARY: In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501–21), this notice announces that the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Department of Veterans Affairs, has submitted the collection of information abstracted below to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and comment. The PRA submission describes the nature of the information collection and its expected cost and burden; it includes the actual data collection instrument.
