Oklahoma Disaster # OK-00010, 7496 [E7-2657]

Download as PDF 7496 Federal Register / Vol. 72, No. 31 / Thursday, February 15, 2007 / Notices The Commission does not believe that Nasdaq’s proposal raises any novel regulatory issues and, therefore, that good cause exists for approving the filing before the conclusion of a noticeand-comment period. Accelerated approval of the proposal will expedite the listing and trading of additional ETFs by Nasdaq, subject to consistent and reasonable standards. Furthermore, accelerated approval of this proposal will facilitate Nasdaq’s ability to continue trading certain non-Nasdaqlisted ETFs as Nasdaq becomes an exchange with respect to non-Nasdaqlisted securities, where there appears to be no regulatory concerns about such trading. Therefore, the Commission finds good cause, consistent with section 19(b)(2) of the Exchange Act,27 to approve the proposed rule change, as amended, on an accelerated basis. V. Conclusion It is therefore ordered, pursuant to section 19(b)(2) of the Exchange Act,28 that the proposed rule change (SR– NASDAQ–2006–050), as amended, be, and it hereby is, approved on an accelerated basis. For the Commission, by the Division of Market Regulation, pursuant to delegated authority.29 Florence E. Harmon, Deputy Secretary. [FR Doc. E7–2664 Filed 2–14–07; 8:45 am] A.
