The respondents will need to submit the information on-line to pay and to make reservation prior to attending any conferences and events. Respondents that do not have access to the Internet can register by mail or fax. Need and use of the Information: FSA will collect the name, organization, organizations address, country, phone number, State, payment options and special accommodations from respondents. FSA will use the information to get payment, confirm and make hotel and other necessary arrangement for the respondents. Description of Respondents: Individuals or households; Farms: Business or other for-profit; Federal government, Not-for-profit institutions; State, Local or Tribal Government. Summary of Collection: This information collection is necessary to create a client list for the Farm Service Agency (FSA) and the Department of Agriculture (USDA) program outreach. The collected information is a tool to promote equal access to USDA Farm programs and services for minority farmers and ranchers with agricultural interests. The Register will provide a name and address file of those interested in outreach efforts. The authority for the collection of this information can be found at 7 U.S.C. 2279. Need and use of the Information: FSA will collect the name, address, phone number, farm location, race, ethnicity and gender from the Minority Farm Register permission form, AD–2035. FSA manage the register and the Office of Outreach releases names, addresses PO 00000 Frm 00001 Fmt 4703 Sfmt 4703 and phone numbers of individuals to approved outreach organizations requesting lists of individuals with particular racial and ethnic characteristics with their authorizations. ACTION: Notice of public meeting and request for comments. AGENCY: SUMMARY: The Office of the Under Secretary for Food Safety, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), is sponsoring a public meeting on March 7, 2007. The objective of the public meeting is to provide information and receive public comments on agenda items and draft United States positions that will be discussed at the Twentyfourth Session of the Codex Committee on General Principles (CCGP) of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (Codex), which will be held in Paris, France, April 2–6, 2007. The Under Secretary for Food Safety recognizes the importance of providing interested parties the opportunity to obtain background information on the 24th Session of CCGP and to address items on the agenda.
