Purpose of
the Meeting: The major purposes of the
meeting are for the Fusion Energy
Sciences Advisory Committee (FESAC)
to (1) hear from DOE about the FY 2008
Budget, (2) complete the charge on the
evaluation of the program’s progress
toward meeting the PART performance
measures, and (3) a presentation and
discussion of a new charge and how
FESAC plans to approach this new
charge. The charge will be related to the
evolution of the program during the
years of ITER construction and
operation including what issues need to
be dealt with and what general class(es)
of facility(ies) may be needed in
addition to ITER.

440).
Tentative Agenda: Update members
on routine business matters.
Public Participation: The

Written statements may be filed with
the Board either before or after the
meeting. Members of the public who
wish to make oral statements pertaining
to agenda items should contact Gary
Burch at the address or telephone
number listed above. Requests to make
oral comments must be received five
days prior to the conference call;
reasonable provision will be made to
include requested topic(s) on the
agenda. The Chair of the Board is
empowered to conduct the call in a
fashion that will facilitate the orderly
