SUMMARY: The Office of the United
States Trade Representative (‘‘USTR’’) is
providing notice that on January 8,
2007, Canada requested consultations
with the United States under the
Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the
World Trade Organization (‘‘WTO
Agreement’’) regarding U.S. domestic
support measures for corn and other
agricultural products. That request may
be found at https://www.wto.org
contained in a document designated as
WT/DS357/1. USTR invites written
comments from the public concerning
the issues raised in this dispute.
DATES: Although USTR will accept any
comments received during the course of
the consultations, comments should be
submitted on or before February 28,
2007 to be assured of timely
consideration by USTR.
