open to the public. Written statements
may be filed with the Board either
before or after the meeting. Individuals
who wish to make oral statements
pertaining to agenda items should

Requests must be received five days
prior to the meeting and reasonable
provision will be made to include the
presentation in the agenda. The Deputy
Designated Federal Officer is
empowered to conduct the meeting in a
fashion that will facilitate the orderly
conduct of business. Individuals
wishing to make public comment will
be provided a maximum of five minutes
to present their comments.

Algonquin Gas Transmission, LLC
(Algonquin) tendered for filing as a part
of its FERC Gas Tariff, Fifth Revised
Volume No. 1, the revised tariff sheets

listed on Appendix A to the filing, to
reflect a corporate identity change
effective January 1, 2007. This effective
date coincides with the date
Algonquin’s new parent corporation,
Spectra Energy Corp. was divested from
Algonquin’s former parent company,
Duke Energy Corporation.
Algonquin states that copies of its
filing have been served upon all affected
customers of Algonquin and interested
state commissions.
Any person desiring to intervene or to
protest this filing must file in
accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of
the Commission’s Rules of Practice and
Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and
385.214). Protests will be considered by
the Commission in determining the
appropriate action to be taken, but will
not serve to make protestants parties to
the proceeding. Any person wishing to
become a party must file a notice of
intervention or motion to intervene, as
appropriate. Such notices, motions, or
protests must be filed in accordance
with the provisions of Section 154.210
of the Commission’s regulations (18 CFR
