SUMMARY: The Tehama County Resource
Advisory Committee (RAC) will meet in
Red Bluff, California. Agenda items to
be covered include: (1) Introductions,
(2) Approval of Minutes, (3) Public
Comment, (4) Status of Legislation, (5)
New Allocation, (6) Chairman’s
Perspective, (7) General Discussion, (8)
Next Agenda.
DATES: The meeting will be held on
January 11, 2007, from 9 a.m. and end
at approximately 12 p.m.

CA. Individuals wishing to speak or

meeting is open to the public.
Committee discussion is limited to
Forest Service staff and Committee
members. However, persons who wish
to bring matters to the attention of the
Committee may file written statements
with the Committee staff before or after
the meeting. Public input sessions will
be provided and individuals who made
written requests by January 7, 2007 will
have the opportunity to address the
committee at those sessions.
SUMMARY: Pursuant to the authorities in
the Federal Advisory Committees Act
(Public Law 92–463) and under the
Secure Rural Schools and Community
Self-Determination Act of 2000 (Public
Law 106–393) the Modoc National
Forest’s Modoc Resource Advisory
Committee will meet Monday, January
8, 2007 in Alturas, California for
business meetings. The meetings are
open to the public.
SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The
business meeting January 8th begins at
4 p.m., at the Modoc National Forest
Office, Conference Room, 800 West 12th
St., Alturas. Agenda topics will include
existing and future projects that meet
the intent of Pub. L. 106–393. Time will
also be set aside for public comments at
the beginning of the meeting.

SUMMARY: The Alaska Region of the
Forest Service is extending the public
comment period an additional 90 days
for the notice of proposed policy
published in the Federal Register
September 15, 2006 (FR Vol. 71, No.
179, pp. 54454–54464) concerning a
long term flat fee policy for outfitters
and guides operating in the Alaska
Region. The original notice provided for
a comment period to end on December
14, 2007. The Forest Service is
extending the comment period until
March 14, 2007.Under the flat fee
policy, a single land use fee would be
charged for each type of service
provided by outfitters and guides in the
Alaska Region.
