The PRA submission describes the nature of the information collection and its expected cost and burden; it includes the actual data collection instrument. Type of Review: Extension of a currently approved collection. Abstract: VA personnel use the form to document pre-employment history and conduct background checks on applicants seeking employment as VA police officers. VA will use the data collected to determine the applicant’s qualification and suitability to be hire as a VA police officer. An agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. The Federal Register Notice with a 60-day comment period soliciting comments on this collection of information was published on August 22, 2006, at page 48976. Affected Public: State, Local, or Tribal Government. Estimated Total Annual Burden: 250 hours. Estimated Average Burden Per Respondent: 10 minutes. Frequency of Response: One-time. SUMMARY: An open meeting of the Area 7 committee of the Taxpayer 
Advocacy Panel will be conducted in Washington, D.C. The Taxpayer 
Advocacy Panel (TAP) is soliciting public comments, ideas, and 
suggestions on improving customer service at the Internal Revenue 
Service. The TAP will use citizen input to make recommendations to the 
Internal Revenue Service.

DATES: The meeting will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2006, from 8 a.m. 
EST to 12 noon EST.
