The requirements of the 24 CFR 203.508(c) state, in part, that ‘‘within thirty days after the end of each calendar year, the mortgagee shall furnish to the mortgagor a statement of the interest paid, and of the taxes disbursed from the escrow account during the preceding year’’. The requirements of 24 CFR 235.1001 state, in part, that ‘‘mortgagees must provide to the mortgagor an annual statement of interest paid and taxes disbursed and shall include an accounting of the total amount of assistance payments paid by HUD and applied to the mortgagor’s account during the preceding year.’’ Agency form numbers, if applicable: None. Estimation of the total hours needed to prepare the information collection including number of respondents, frequency of response, and hours of response: The estimated total number of burden hours needed to prepare the information collection is 1,143; the number of respondents is 438 generating approximately 4,003,880 annual responses; the frequency of response is annually and third party disclosures; and the estimated time needed to prepare the response is less than 1 minute.
