PACHA was established to serve solely
as an advisory body to the Secretary of
Health and Human Services. The
Council is composed of not more than
21 members. Council membership is
determined by the Secretary from
individuals who are considered
authorities with particular expertise in,
or knowledge of, matters concerning
HIV/AIDS.
The agenda for this Council meeting
includes the following topics: HIV/AIDS
among the African America/Latino
communities, HIV/AIDS prevention,
and international issues. Members of the
public will have the opportunity to
provide comments at the meeting.
Public comment will be limited to three
(3) minutes per speaker.
Public attendance is limited to space
available and pre-registration is
required. Any individual who wishes to
participate should register at https://
www.pacha.gov. Individuals who plan
to attend and need special assistance,
such as sign language interpretation or
other reasonable accommodations,
should indicate in the comment section
when registering.

In accordance with section 10(d) of
the Federal Advisory Committee Act as
amended (5 U.S.C., Appendix 2), the
Agency for Healthcare Research and
Quality (AHRQ) announces meetings of
scientific peer review groups. The
subcommittees listed below are part of
the Agency’s Health Services Research
Initial Review Group Committee.
The subcommittee meetings will be
closed to the public in accordance with
the Federal Advisory Committee Act,
section 10(d) of 5 U.S.C., Appendix 2
and 5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(6). Grant
applications are to be reviewed and
discussed at these meetings. These
discussions are likely to involve
information concerning individuals
associated with the applications,
including assessments of their personal
qualifications to conduct their proposed
