sponsoring the collection: Form N–565.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration

(4) Affected public who will be asked
or required to respond, as well as a brief
abstract: Primary: Individuals or
households. This form is used to apply
for a replacement of a Declaration of
Intention, Naturalization Certificate,
Certificate of Citizenship or Repatriation
Certificate, or to apply for a special
certificate of naturalization as a U.S.
citizen to be recognized by a foreign
country.
(5) An estimate of the total number of
respondents and the amount of time
estimated for an average respondent to
respond: 22,567 responses at 55 minutes
(.916) per response.
(6) An estimate of the total public
burden (in hours) associated with the
collection: 20,671 annual burden hours.
