Exchange in securities that are traded on
the Exchange.17 Furthermore, the
Commission notes that the proposed
rule change, as amended, is similar to
Pacific Exchange Rule 7.58, Compliance
with Two-Sided Quote Requirement in
ITS Plan, which provides that the
Archipelago Securities, LLC is
responsible for entering two-sided
orders in all stocks eligible for trading
on the NYSE Arca Marketplace for
purposes of fulfilling the two-sided
quote requirement found in Section
6(a)(i)(B) of the ITS Plan. Accordingly,
the Commission designates the
proposed rule change, as amended, as
effective and operative immediately
upon filing with the Commission.
At any time within 60-days of the
filing of the proposed rule change, the
Commission may summarily abrogate
such rule change if it appears to the
Commission that such action is
necessary or appropriate in the public
interest, for the protection of investors,
or otherwise in furtherance of the
purposes of the Act.18

amended, is consistent with the Act.
