SUMMARY: A meeting of the National
Advisory Committee for Acute Exposure
Guideline Levels for Hazardous
Substances (NAC/AEGL Committee)
will be held from September 6–8, 2006,
in Bethesda, MD. At this meeting, the
NAC/AEGL Committee will address, as
time permits, the various aspects of the
acute toxicity and the development of
Acute Exposure Guideline Levels
(AEGLs) for the following chemicals:
1,2,3-Trimethylbenzene; 1,2,4trimethylbenzene; 1,3,5trimethylbenzene; 2-ethylhexyl
chloroformate; benzyl chloroformate;
chlorobenzene; dibromoethane;
ethylbenzene; ethylene oxide;
hexafluoropropylene; phenyl
chloroformate; phenyl mercaptan;
propargyl alcohol; tetrafluoroethylene;
and trifluorochloroethylene.
DATES: A meeting of the NAC/AEGL
Committee will be held from 10 a.m. to
5 p.m. on September 6, 2006, from 8:30
