Federal Register / Vol. 71, No. 146 / Monday, July 31, 2006 / Notices
the Natural Gas Act (NGA) and part 157
of the Commission’s Rules and
Regulations, to amend its pending
application filed on March 31, 2006.
Trunkline LNG seeks to revise:
(1) The depreciation rate reflected on
Exhibit O and the corresponding annual
depreciation expense, (2) the estimated
incremental revenues, expenses and
income reflected on Exhibit N, and (3)
the cost of service, rate derivation and
Pro Forma Sheet No. 5 contained in
Exhibit P. The application is on file
with the Commission and open for
public inspection. This filing is
available for review at the Commission
in the Public Reference Room or may be

Trunkline LNG states that the
negotiated rate with its customer, BG
LNG Services, LLC (BG LNG), is based
on a 40 year depreciable life for the
Infrastructure Enhancement Project. The
facilities will be new construction and
of a durable long-lived nature.
Therefore, Trunkline LNG proposes to
depreciate the life of the assets over a
term of 40 years instead of 20 years as
indicated in the March 31, 2006
application. The revision results in the
recourse rate decreasing from $1.2616
per Dt to $1.1378 per Dt and the
composite depreciation rate of 5.0%
will be 2.5%.
Any questions regarding the
application are to be directed to William
W. Grygar, Vice President of Rates and
Regulatory Affairs, 5444 Westheimer
Road, Houston, Texas 77056–5306;
phone number (713) 989–7000.

status by becoming a party to the
proceedings for this project should, on

Any person desiring to intervene or to protest in any of the above
proceedings must file in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the
Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and
385.214) on or before 5 p.m. Eastern time on the specified comment
date. It is not necessary to separately intervene again in a subdocket
related to a compliance filing if you have previously intervened in the
same docket. Protests will be considered by the Commission in
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to
make protestants parties to the proceeding. Anyone filing a motion to
intervene or protest must serve a copy of that document on the
Applicant. In reference to filings initiating a new proceeding,
interventions or protests submitted on or before the comment deadline
need not be served on persons other than the Applicant.
The Commission encourages electronic submission of protests and
interventions in lieu of paper, using the FERC Online links at https://
www.ferc.gov. To facilitate electronic service, persons with Internet
access who will eFile a document and/or be listed as a contact for an
intervenor must create and validate an eRegistration account using the
eRegistration link. Select the eFiling link to log on and submit the
intervention or protests.
Persons unable to file electronically should submit an original and
14 copies of the intervention or protest to the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission, 888 First St., NE., Washington, DC 20426.
