Abstract: The application form is needed to conduct a national competition for Fiscal Year 2007 for the Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math and Science Centers. These programs provide federal financial assistance in the form of grants to institutions of higher education, public and private agencies and organizations, combinations of institutions and agencies and in exceptional cases, secondary schools to establish and operate projects designed to generate skills and motivation necessary for success in education beyond secondary school. The Upward Bound Math and Science Centers provide an intensive six-seek summer math-science curriculum program. This information collection is being submitted under the Streamlined Clearance Process for Discretionary Grant Information Collections (1890– 0001). Therefore, the 30-day public comment period notice will be the only public comment notice published for this information collection.
