SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Notice is
hereby given that special cost sharing
arrangements are warranted regarding
Federal funds provided under the
authority of the Robert T. Stafford
Disaster Relief and Emergency
Assistance Act, 42 U.S.C. 5121–5206
(Stafford Act). Therefore, consistent
with 48 U.S.C. 1469a(d), pertaining to
insular areas, and the President’s
declaration letter dated November 8,
2005, Federal funds for the Hazard
Mitigation Grant Program are authorized
at 100 percent of total eligible costs for
the Commonwealth of the Northern
Mariana Islands. This cost share is
effective as of the date of the President’s
major disaster declaration.
