SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Following
is a legal description of the subject
airport property to be released at
Faribault Municipal Airport in
Faribault, MN and described as follows:
All that part of the N1⁄2 NE1⁄4 Section 23–
T110N–R21W, Rice County Minnesota;
described as follows: Commencing at the
southwest corner of the N1⁄2 NE1⁄4 of said
Section 23; thence North 89°35′43″ East a
distance of 1843.30 feet, on the south line of
said N1⁄2 NE1⁄4; thence North 52°47′17″ West
a distance of 2181.22 feet, to a point on the
north line of the NE1⁄4 of said Section 23;
thence south 89°16′25″ West a distance of
101.83 feet, on north line of said NE1⁄4, to the
northwest corner of said NE1⁄4; thence south
00°11′07″ west a distance of 1330.86 feet, on
the west line of said NE1⁄4 to the point of
beginning.
Said parcel subject to all easements,
restrictions, and reservations of record.

accordance with the Wendell H. Ford
Aviation Investment and Reform Act for
the 21st Century (AIR 21), Public Law
10–181 (Apr. 5, 2000; 114 Stat. 61), this
notice must be published in the Federal
Register 10 days before the Secretary of
Transportation may waive any
condition imposed on a Federally
obligated airport.
The following is a brief overview of
the request: Yavapai County (County)
requested a release from the obligations
contained in the conveyance deed for
approximately 16 acres of airport land at
Sedona Airport, Sedona, Arizona,
originally acquired from the United
States for airport purposes under the
provisions of the Federal Airport Act of
1946. The land occupies two parcels
that are located on the north side of the
airport adjacent to Airport Road and
Shrine Road. The property is currently
occupied by the Sky Ranch Lodge and
the Red Rock Memorial Lodge under the
terms of a lease with the County and
airport. The County wishes to be
released from the obligation requiring
that the land be used exclusively for
airport purposes. The property is not
being used for airport purposes and

SUMMARY: The Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) announces its
determination that the noise exposure
maps submitted by the Wayne County
Airport Authority under the provisions
of the Aviation Safety and Noise
Abatement Act (Act), 49 U.S.C. 47501,
et seq. and the Federal Aviation
Regulations (FAR), 14 CFR part 150
(part 150) are in compliance with
applicable requirements.
DATES: The effective date of the FAA’s
determination on the noise exposure
maps is March 7, 2006.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This
notice announces that the FAA finds
that the noise exposure maps submitted
for Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County
Airport are in compliance with
applicable requirements of part 150,
effective March 7, 2006.
Under 49 U.S.C. 47503 of the Act, an
airport operator may submit noise
exposure maps to the FAA which meet
applicable regulations and which depict
non-compatible land use as of the date
of submission of such maps, a
description of projected aircraft
operations, and the ways in which such
operations will affect such maps. The
Act requires such maps to be developed
in consultation with interested and
