Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company
(Tennessee) filed an abbreviated
application with the Commission for a
certificate of public convenience and
necessity pursuant to section 7(b) of the
Natural Gas Act and Part 157 the
Commission’s Rules and Regulations for
authorization to abandon certain
inactive certificated transportation
services performed pursuant to
Tennessee Rate Schedules T–123, T–
129, T–144, T–145, T–167 and T–171 all
as more fully set forth in the application
on file with the Commission and open
to public inspection.
Any person desiring to intervene or to
protest this filing must file in
accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of
the Commission’s Rules of Practice and
Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and
385.214). Protests will be considered by
the Commission in determining the
appropriate action to be taken, but will
not serve to make protestants parties to
the proceeding. Any person wishing to

Santee Cooper Project No. 199.
Complainants allege that Respondent
has and continues to operate the project
in violation of its license so as to cause
unnecessary floods on the Petitioners’
land. They have asked the Commission
to investigate and to stop Respondent
