ACTION: Notice. AGENCY: SUMMARY: The Defense Policy Board Advisory Committee will meet in closed session at the Pentagon on March 9, 2006 from 0900 to 1800 and March 10, 2006 from 0830 to 1400. The purpose of the meeting is to provide the Secretary of Defense, Deputy Secretary of Defense and Under Secretary of Defense for Policy with independent, informed advice on major matters of defense policy. SUMMARY: The Defense Science Board Task Force on VTOL/STOL will meet in 
closed session on February 22, 2006; at Strategic Analysis Inc., 3601 
Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA. This meeting continues the task 
force's work and will consist of classified and FOUO briefings on 
current technologies and programs.
    The mission of the Defense Science Board is to advise the Secretary 
of Defense and the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, 
Technology & Logistics on scientific and technical matters as they 
affect the perceived needs of the Department of Defense. At these
