Geneva Energy, LLC; Notice of Issuance of Order

January 9, 2006.
    Geneva Energy LLC (Geneva) filed an application for market-based 
rate authority, with an accompanying rate tariff. The proposed rate 
tariff provides for the sales of energy and capacity at market-based 
rates and for the reassignment of transmission capacity. Geneva also 
requested waiver of various Commission regulations. In particular, 
Geneva requested that the Commission grant blanket approval under 18 
CFR part 34 of all future issuances of securities and assumptions of 
liability by Geneva.
