Dear Commissioner: This directive
amends, but does not cancel, the directive
issued to you on September 20, 2004, by the
Chairman, Committee for the Implementation
of Textile Agreements. That directive
concerns imports of certain cotton and man–
made fiber textiles and textile products,
produced or manufactured in Vietnam and
exported during the twelve-month period
which began on January 1, 2005 and extends
through December 31, 2005.
Effective on November 10, 2005, you are
directed to adjust the limits for the following
categories, as provided for under the terms of
the current bilateral textile agreement
between the Governments of the United
States and Vietnam:
