An environmental assessment (EA) is
available for public review. The EA was
prepared for an application filed by
Georgia Power Company on June 2,
2005, requesting the Commission’s
authorization to permit the ClaytonRabun County Water and Sewer
Authority (Authority) to increase its
water withdrawal from Lake Rabun, a
reservoir of the North Georgia Project,
from 2.0 million gallons per day to 3.5
million gallons per day for municipal
water supply.
